Water

Seems like we can't get away from water. We were both raised in Florida, became friends, and then life lead us separate ways. Mel now lives in San Francisco with the Pacific by her side and Azuree lives right by Lake Michigan in Chicago. Today we changed things up by shooting pack film! Mel took her Land Camera out for a spin with some Fuji 3000b and Azuree took her Mamiya Universal to the lake with some old Polaroid Polacolor film.

Lines! Mel shot hers on some old Polaroid film that she's been holding onto while Azuree shot hers on The Impossible Project's PX 70 test film. Both great films!

LOVE

We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines day, if you're into that sort of thing! We love a reason to wear a heart around town! Mel dusted off some Polaroid 600 and shot her Ban.do heart for love and Azuree took a picture of her beloved bunnies, Seymour and Franny on Impossible Project's beta PX 70 film!

Lapin et Ours

Last week Azuree was in San Francisco visiting Mel! We had such a fun time hanging out and hauling our plethora of cameras around! It was Azuree's first time in San Francisco so you can imagine the picture taking that ensued. Mel took a photo of Azuree clicking away on her Diana Mini with her iPhone and Photojojo Fisheye lens. Azuree took a photo of Mel on The Impossible Project's PX680 Test film, appropriately enough under a Mel's diner sign.

Public Transportation

Mel in San Francisco says "I rarely wear my headphones on the bus. Most of the time I love seeing and hearing all that's going on around me. It's like I get a secret peek into all kinds of people's lives. In San Francisco people from all demographics ride the buses and trains. So instead of a train or bus or cable car I wanted to share a moment I experienced on the 22 Filmore". What a cute moment right?! Azuree shares a photo of the "L" stop in her neighborhood, the Wilson Red line with an approaching South bound train.

By now you've gathered that Mel & Azuree love their husbands and pets but they also live for music! Mel has a much broader love for music than Azuree but they both share a love for Ryan Adams, The Smiths, and Bob Dylan.

Camera

Looks like Mel was a good girl this year! She got her own wonderful Polaroid SX-70 camera complete with an accessory kit and a bunch of Impossible Project goodies for Christmas!! Back in Chicago is one of Azuree's Polaroid SX-70's, taking in some sun by the window.

Pets!

We are two crazy animal girls. It's true. One day we'll be crazy cat ladies. For now we are pug and rabbit ladies.

Mel's pug, Leica (isn't she just the cutest?!) and Azuree's two bunnies- Seymour and Franny. Bonus points if you get the bunny name reference!
